days 49-50

This is what Katrina has been experiencing for the past 50 days of bed rest. Her plan was to be teaching 3rd grade but she is given the opportunity to trust the Lord with His plan for her days. He is a God who is dependable, trustworthy and the giver of strength.
Today  is another week to thank the Lord for, as baby Yang has now reached week 30 in his development! He is doing well with a strong heart rate and a lot of moving. Katrina is experiencing only minimal and very few contractions. Dr. Adam has kept her at the same level of IV Magnesium. Her dad gifted her a massage yesterday through the physical therapy dept. here so that helps relieve some of the body aching that comes from long term bed rest.
The one complication she has experienced recently is low iron levels. Last week was low and this week was even lower. Her doctor had a hematologist come in to see her yesterday. She wasn't overly excited to again  see a doctor with Oncology on their white coat! The Specialist had several specialty blood tests done. We are awaiting the results of those but there is good news in that the blood work that has come back shows results of her bone marrow working well.
Please pray for this issue of the iron to be something that's easy to treat such as simple anemia. Continue to pray for this pregnancy to go for another week (and longer). Pray for Katrina to be content in the circumstance of bed rest as her baby boy grows and develops. blessings, Lori
