These last few days have been alright. The main issues Katrina deals with muscle aches from bed rest and pain from the catheter. We've had some friendly faces come and show up and bring some smiles and laughs. The doctor said that she might allow Katrina to use a bedside commode depending on where/how the baby looks from an ultrasound at the end of the week. This would be great considering how much pain the catheter has given her. Today it seemed like it was all day. Yesterday it was really bad before sleep.
Actually the catheter just got taken out (11:15 PM CST). The doctor said it needs to be replaced, so we're hoping/praying that Katrina can go during this time while it's out. If not, then a new one will be placed in. This ordeal has been mentally and physically taxing on her throughout her hospitalization. So for those of you who are still up and are reading this, please pray!!!
Baby's heart is still beating well, and he's still quite the mover.

Continuing to pray! Thanks for the updates! Katrina, YOU are amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou've basically bought your sweet baby a whole MONTH!! Remarkable and wonderful!! I'm so sorry for all that you're having to go through every day (every moment probably!), Katrina... I can't even BEGIN to imagine. You will have a precious, beautiful, healthy baby boy at the end of all this -- your reward. (If you hear this all the time and you're sick of it, forgive me and then never mind!!)
