days 45-48

There has not been much to report these past few days as Katrina has remained stable. Her goal is to stay pregnant and so we are grateful for each passing day. Her nurse this week tells her daily "your baby is beautiful" meaning the three times a day that baby Yang is monitored, his heart rate is good. Katrina says he is quite active and especially in the evenings. Last night there was concern in the night as the monitoring showed an increase in contractions but they were mild enough that Katrina was not feeling them. The doctor was apprised. Further monitoring showed that they had quieted. Today's monitoring showed only one an hour. That was certainly an answer to prayer and just what we wanted to see. Dr Adam has not been in to see her yet today. She quite often comes in late evening.
Please continue to pray for no contractions and there be no complications of her pregnancy. Pray for quality nursing care and wisdom for her doctor and medical staff. Other than the achy feelings that come with 48 days of bed rest, she is doing well. Lori (g'ma)
