"I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His Word I put my Hope." Psalm 130:5
Waiting continues to be a good thing. Katrina continues to be stable on bed rest. She is not experiencing contractions. Her blood work yesterday revealed that her hemoglobin was quite low but that the bone marrow is working well. Her doctor ordered IV iron along with the iron she takes orally to get the levels up. Her thyroid level is in the normal range and everything else is looking good. She is hoping to get an ultrasound done this week. Baby continues to be monitored x3 a day. Yesterday her friend Kristy came by after school to fill her in on beginning of the school year meetings, classroom set up, etc. Plus she brought some dinner for Katrina. Tonight Louis came and brought us nice chicken salads. She has had so much hospital food that this was a welcome treat. But the nicer thing was to have him here for the evening:)

Thank you for the updates! Does this young man have a name yet?
ReplyDeleteWe've been (and still here) in South Carolina the past week dealing with a death in the family. BUT - we've still had you guys on our minds and hearts. Wanted to let you know the prayers are still coming. We'd love to bring you both dinner and visit for a while once back in Houston.
