days 67 & 68

"You are good and do good..." Psalm 119:68
Today is day 68 for Katrina and I would say it is almost more accurate now to call it day 68 of hospitalization as she is not on such strict bed rest any longer. Due to not having contractions the past couple of days, her doctor has allowed her to be up to shower, where she has a chair to sit,  and use the restroom. Today her doctor  even told her to try sitting in a chair for 15 minutes. She did well but said it felt a little odd to her to sit after so many weeks in bed.
An ultrasound was done today which showed no changes in her condition. The fluid and placenta look good and dilation has remained the same. Little baby is growing and is in the 45% for weight. He is 3 lbs. 13oz. I got to watch and the tech pointed out different things to me. His little mouth was moving like a sucking motion which was so precious. I think he is going to look a lot like his daddy from what we have seen the past 2 times. Unfortunately Katrina was not able to see the screen because of the type of equipment used but her doctor called and told her what it showed.
She had a visit from friend Angie yesterday who came with a lunch from Panera and today her Pastor's wife, BJ, came to pray with her. Louis was here tonight too as it is so much more convenient being close to home.
Thank you for your continued prayers that she doesn't contract, that her gestational diabetes remains well controlled and her baby grows strong and healthy. We have a heart of gratitude to the Lord and appreciate your love and concern. g'ma Lori
