days 63 & 64

Katrina really likes Fridays because they mark another week of pregnancy. This week has been especially anticipated because their baby boy is now at 32 weeks! For that we are giving thanks this AM.
Two days ago, Katrina's IV medication was discontinued since she had been on it for so long. Now her doctor is treating her contractions with a couple of oral medications. She has her picc line with just saline running in case they need it to restart her IV Magnesium. Last night she didn't have any contractions during monitoring which is a good sign. She is currently on the monitor this AM and so far so good. Yesterday she was treated to a weekly massage thanks to the staff at the school where Louis teaches. Thank you again, Farney. It truly makes a difference as this is day 64 of bed rest. She also had an ultrasound and her doctor was called to a delivery but as she finished, she said, 'we have done a good job'. We are grateful for the medical wisdom, nursing care and the Lord's Sovereignty that has carried her to this point. We are thankful for the continued prayers from so of you on behalf of Louis, Katrina and sweet baby. G'ma Lori
