"But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel,
'Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are Mine!
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you." (Isaiah 43:1-2)
The doctor came in yesterday and told us her current plan. Katrina will stay on the catheter till the baby is 26 weeks (one more week) and then she will take her off the magnesium. From there on, it will only be the pills and shots that will be used to reduce the contractions.
Apparently, there is only so much magnesium your body should have or take. They've been slowly lowering the dosage; however, at one point yesterday, she was having a lot of contractions. They ramped up the magnesium level for an hour and gave her shots. She was not feeling good for the hour or so. The contractions seemed to subside though.
We also had an awesome prayer time via Skype last night with many people in California. Very very heartfelt. It was a good note to end the day.
Surprise!
