7 months

Dear Titus,

You are definitely on the move.  You still haven't mastered crawling, but you get around plenty fast enough.  You are ready to pull your self up on things.  Although you haven't been able to do it on your own yet, you love to stand when we put you up next to something.  Recently you have started to lunge out at things in hopes that you will be able to stand up.  I am shocked you haven't been hurt yet doing it.  A few times you have pulled your self up to your knees in your crib grabbing the bumpers and then made it to your feet.  Needless to say you don't fall asleep as quickly at nap time or bed time any more.

You have been eating more and more foods lately and are loving it!  We give you a bottle in the morning when you wake up, Staci gives you oatmeal and fruit when you get to her house, then you have another bottle, veggies and fruit for lunch, another bottle (which you never are that interested in), fruit and veggies for dinner, then a bottle right before you sleep for the night.  So far you have had avocado, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, pears, mango, peaches, and banana.  I am still not sure if you like the mango or not, but everything else you gobble up.  We also have given you a little water in a sippy cup and you love it.  Sometimes we think you think you are older than you are since you hang out with the "big kids" at Staci's all day.

You weigh 17 lbs 7 oz. and are 27 inches long.  Your 3-6 month clothes are all getting a bit small, luckily grammy just sent some 6-9 month things for you that fit much better and you are wearing size 3 diapers. You continue to eat everything in sight and drool like crazy, but we have yet to see any teeth.  We keep saying one has to be coming in... maybe this month.

You are back on breathing treatments for the 3rd time.  Thankfully you love the TV show  Bubble Guppies which allows us to sneak your inhaler without you minding most of the time.  We were hoping that your wheezing wasn't asthma, but things are starting to point more in the direction. If it is asthma, hopefully you will out grow it sooner rather than later!

You love anything that helps you make noise.  You love to sit up and pat your hands on anything that will make noise.  Most of the time when you play it involves banging one of your toys on something else.  Just the other day you discovered that banging your plastic balls on the glass door to the backyard is loads of fun and VERY loud.

Even though you are growing way too fast for us, we love watching you figure out and discover new things.  We love you!

Love,
Mommy and Daddy
