St. Patrick's Day

My mom always made a big deal of holidays so it only seems fitting to carry on those traditions. I can't say that I got up and made green pancakes and decorated with leprechaun ladders, but I did make corned beef and cabbage for dinner! My friend Kristy's parents drive down from Iowa for Spring Break every year and her dad appreciates this Irish meal so I invited them over for dinner as well. We had corned beef and cabbage, mashed potatoes, green beans, green grapes, and Sprite with lime to make it green! I almost forgot the best part, we also had a brownie and mint chip ice cream dessert, yum.
