You are a month away from being one and I will say it again- time is going way too fast! You weight 20lbs 12 oz and are the cutest little boy around! We are finishing out the size 3 diapers we have for you and will probably move up because recently we have had too many outfit changes with diaper changes if you know what I mean. You still fit in most 9 months clothes, but the 12 month things are fitting you better.
You took your first steps a few weeks ago (August 24th to be exact)! We were at Oma's house visiting and you were standing next to daddy then just took 3 steps. We all freaked out and started cheering and clapping. You had no idea what you did, but you loved that everyone was clapping for you. You have taken 3 steps one other time, but mostly you are content with running around the house pushing your bike and cars. You get everywhere pushing those toys and really anything you can walk with. You also love to go walk on the sidewalk outside while hold my hands. You still like to play with your cars and house, but most of the time you like toys that you can play with while standing up. We really thought that you were going to start walking, but you still don't quiet have the balance part down yet.
You finally have 2 teeth! I didn't even realize you were teething and then one day you snuck up on me and bit me- there was no denying you had a tooth! Your second tooth came in pretty quickly after that. You are eating even more table foods, but aren't really consistent in what you like and what you don't like, it really just depends on the day. You love corn dogs, yogurt, and pancakes and most of the time also eat pears, peaches, applesauce, smoothie, chicken nuggets, meatball, pizza, waffles, crackers, and whatever else you steal from Adelyn at Staci's house.
You have started to wave bye-bye consistently and have even said "ba" several times in conjunction with waving so we are wondering if that is going to be your first word. You are back to making a lot of noises, especially when you are excited. I think that you sound exactly like Curious George from the cartoon. This month you have started to "ohh" at everything you find interesting- mainly things that make noise like the blender, coffee grinder, cars driving by, and the TV. You make the cutest face when yo do it too.
You have done better with sleeping this month too which is nice for mommy and daddy since we are back to work. You typically go to bed between 6:30-7:00 and sleep until 5:00. When we are really luck you sleep until 6:00, but this only happens about once a week. You usually take an hour nap in the morning and then a 1 hour to a hour and a half nap in the afternoon. You are still such a happy baby and provide us with so many laughs and hours of entertainment.

So... we got the phone out again to distract you
You quicly realized that I would give you the phone and take it away so you grabbed it as tightly as you could, I didn't think that I would get it back!
