I can't believe that our summer at home with you is almost over already. Some days we wonder how Staci keeps up with you and 3 other kids! You are almost 20 lbs and 29 inches long. You are still wearing size 3 diapers and are in all 9 month clothes.
I am not sure how it is possible, but I think that you are crawling even faster than you were last month. You are still pulling yourself up on everything and have started to use your walker a lot to get around. You don't make it too far before you fall to your knees, but usually you just laugh and try to get right back up. Your pictures are getting harder and harder to take now that you are so mobile. We found a way to get you to stay still for just a few second this time... give you my cell phone. It was a risk, but it worked out. You still love to play with cars and really anything that has wheels. Landri just gave you a big car to ride and push that makes all kids of noise from when she was one and it is one of your favorite toys. You also were given the Fisher Price Learning Home and you love it. Your favorite thing is to open and close the mail box.
We thought that your first words were coming soon from all the babbling that you had been doing, but you seemed to be quieter this month than you were last month. I guess you just like to keep us on our toes. You are starting to eat some table foods, but it takes a while to get you to try something. Once we get the first taste in your mouth you usually decide that maybe it is worth trying. You still love yogurt and are starting to eat waffles, pancakes, lentil soup, some fruit pieces, and little bits of meatball. You also gnawed on some genuine Iowa sweet corn that Kristy's parents brought down. You aren't even one and you know what the good stuff is!
You haven't been sleeping as well since we got back from vacation. Luckily it didn't take you too long to get back to sleep at night in your crib, but naps have been a different story. There have been several occasions that we he resorted to pushing you around the house in your stroller because it is just o hot to go outside. You still love to take baths and splash around in the water. Since we have been home for the summer we often just let you stay in the water and play as long as you like. You are also very interested in the loud noises in the kitchen every morning (grinding coffee and making smoothies). I let you push the button on the coffee grinder once and since then you don't like us to grind the coffee without you.
We just can't say enough how much we love you Titus!
