Getting closer

Titus is making great progress and is getting very close to coming home.  He has done amazingly well with his breathing since being taken off the oxygen and is doing a great job with his feedings.  I have been able to try and breastfeed 2 times a day then supplement with formula which makes me feel better.  He has been doing so well with that they let me try 3 times today.  Now that he has pretty much gotten his 2 goals down (breathing and eating), his bilirubin level came back too high yesterday and he had to have phototherapy for jaundice.  It was hard to not be able to hold him and just leave him lying under the lights.  His levels did go down a bit since yesterday afternoon so after his late afternoon feeding today they put him back in his normal crib.  We are hoping that his levels will come back even better tomorrow as it will put us a step closer to bringing his sweet face home.  Please lift Titus up in your prayers that he would continue to grow stronger and be ready to come home soon!
